Volunteer Role Vacancies
As PSS is expanding and growing, the need for specific roles for volunteers has become apparent.
On this page you will find details of current positions available with a job description and guidance and the forms to apply for the roles.
Some jobs will have specific closing dates, after which interviews will be conducted and others will be ongoing, with interviews following shortly after application. Further training for the roles will be given on successful appointment to the role. Positions are limited and not all applicants will be successful, however, volunteers with an interest and skills in a particular area will be noted and prioritised as more roles become available and the charity expands.
Social Media Manager - Voluntary Position
We are looking to recruit an experienced Social Media Manager to develop and implement a social media strategy in conjunction with the PSS staff and Trustees. Heading a dedicated team of volunteers, the right candidate must have experience of team management and a proven record of success within the social media campaign field. This is a voluntary role but we request a commitment of around 10 hours per week for the role.

Social Media team Member
Working under the guidance of the Social Media Manager we hope to recruit multiple team members to help implement a social media strategy via multiple platforms from Facebook and Twitter to blogs and YouTube.
These are voluntary positions but we ask that candidates are able to commit a minimum of 2 hours per week.
