HG Facts

Hyperemesis Gravidarum rarely ends at 12 weeks of pregnancy. It typically improves in the middle of pregnancy, but symptoms often last until birth.

15th May - International Hyperemesis Awareness Day

This annual event is a great opportunity to raise awareness and co-ordinate fundraising events.

Initiated by the HER Foundation in America 2015 will be the third annual event and will see fundraising and awareness across the globe.

State side the HER Foundation hold a 5k run in Washington DC to raise money and bring survivors together and here in the UK we encourage supporters to hold Big Brew events in their homes and communities.

A video is produced each year by our Trustee Emma and an HG survivors annual is produced for the births since the previous HG awareness day.

More details about events being planned for 2015 will appear in the new year so keep an eye on this page and our blog Nine Months Of...
