Obtaining Diclectin
Diclectin (doxylamine-pyridoxine) is available in Canada for the treatment of pregnancy sickness symptoms and hyperemesis gravidarum. It is recommended by the society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Canada and is licensed in Canada for this use. It has been shown to be effective in trials. There is no credible evidence of animal or human teratogenesis for its ingredients.

It can be prescribed for women with pregnancy sickness symptoms or hyperemesis gravidarum in the UK on a named patient basis and the drug can be imported by IDIS World Medicines in a pack of 100 tabs (usually sufficient to treat symptoms for 20 days).

Take the prescription to a chemist, asking them to contact IDIS to get the medication imported into the UK (Should be available within 5 working days)
